CFB 25 is not the only popular football game in the EA Play catalog, as Madden NFL 25 is there as well, alongside last year's EA Sports FC 24. Another perk of EA Play is access to 10-hour trials to EA's other games, including FC 25, NHL 25, EA Sports PGA Tour, and Dragon Age: The Veilguard, among others.

As mentioned, EA Play is only available through Game Pass Ultimate(or as its own subscription), so subscribers to Game Pass Standard or Core will not get to play CFB 25 as part of their membership. EA Play on its own costs $6/month, so anyone who wants just that membership can get it without Game Pass.

EA is now working on CFB 26, which is expected to launch in July. It was recently confirmed that student-athletes who opt in to participating in the game will receive payment of at least $1,500. More details about CFB 26 are expected to be announced in the coming months.
