Now Playing: Tombwater - Playable Demo Reveal Trailer

The demo is essentially the game's tutorial, and takes place early in the story as the gunslinger investigates a nearly deserted mining camp. Through this sequence, players will be introduced to the game's mechanics and its arsenal of weapons, blades, spells, apothecary items, and magic charms. It also appears to have some metroidvania touches that may encourage backtracking.

According to the game's description, there are five spells available to the player in the demo. But they come with a warning that if players use them too often then they will "suffer the consequences." There is also a boss battle at the end that will conclude the demo and pave the way for the rest of the story.

Mraz's Moth Atlas has partnered with Midwest Games to release the Tombwater demo on Steam. Tombwater doesn't currently have an official release date, but it's expected to arrive later this year on PC.
