Overall, you can expect to binge on a lot of Pokemon animation here. The first series ran for 48 episodes, Kalos Quest ran for 45 episodes, and XYZ wrapped up the saga with a run of 47 episodes. There were a handful of special episodes, as well as feature-length movies set during this era of Pokemon. The series is available on DVD, just in case the episodes don't appear on your local Netflix, due to licensing restrictions.
You can also pick up the manga adaptation--which features fantastic art by Satoshi Yamamoto--with each volume retailing for $7-$11 each. As for the films, all three XY movies are available as a bundle on a single Blu-ray for $17.35 (was $25). This includes Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction, Hoopa and the Clash of Ages, and Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel.

Pokemon the Series: XY comes during an interesting time for the franchise, as ahead of the launch of the Switch 2, Pokemon Legends: Z-A will be released in late 2025. The new game is set in X and Y's Paris-inspired metropolis of Lumiose City, a hub of activity inhabited by both people and Pokemon.
While plot details are scarce for now, we do know that the gameplay will evolve the ideas introduced in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, as there'll be new battle mechanics to master and Mega Evolutions will also play a prominent role.
