There's also a tease of a one-sided showdown between the Doom Slayer and Hell's would-be king, a quick look at the Doom Slayer's new arsenal of medieval-themed weapons, and an Atlan mech sequence where players will take on skyscraper-sized demons.

Doom: The Dark Ages on May 13 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5, and ahead of its arrival, Xbox has revealed a selection of limited-edition items that are available to order. Right now, you can pick up a standard Xbox controller in the Doom Slayer's signature color scheme for $80 and a Dark Ages-themed Xbox Elite Series 2 controller for $200, and there's also an Xbox Series X console wrap on the way soon that'll let you embrace your hardware in gritty Doom textures.

The game will be available as a day-one release through Xbox Game Pass, but if you want to get a head start, the Premium and Collector's Editions do offer two days of early access alongside several other goodies. You can check out our Doom: The Dark Ages preorder guide for more details.
