Now Playing: Little Nightmares III – 'You're Being Watched' Trailer

  • PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 users can play together.
  • Xbox One and Xbox Series X users can play together.
  • Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 users can play together.
  • PC players can only play with PC players.

So, while you may not be able to join those on completely different platforms, it's good to know you can still hit up your friends who have previous generation console and bring them along for the ride.

Even better, Little Nightmares III comes with a Friend's Pass, which allows you to team up in online co-op with only one copy of the game, similar to games like Split Fiction and It Takes Two. You or a friend buys the game, then the other can join at no cost and play through the journey with you. However, you can only play on that save file with that friend going forward, so you'll need to start another save file to play the game in single-player.

Does Little Nightmares III have cross-progression?

We hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Little Nightmares III also does not support cross-progression features. This means that whichever platform you purchase the game on is the one you'll need to finish it on. You won't be able to move your saves between platforms.

Little Nightmares III launches October 10 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
