New Minecraft Movie Clip Focuses On A Date Night For Unlikely Couple

That's not the last joke for the 30-second video, either. A waitress appears near the end, asking if the couple is "finished." This leads to Coolidge's character replying: "I think he's Swedish." This works on another level, too, since Minecraft was created by Swedish developer Markus "Notch" Persson and the studio Mojang is based in Sweden.
In February, we got a look at the villain for A Minecraft Movie in a trailer, which is a Piglin from the Nether called Malgosha. But we also saw the first glimpse at Coolidge's character in that video, too. It shows her hitting a Villager with a car, which apparently will be a meet-cute for the couple.
Along with Coolidge, A Minecraft Movie stars Jason Mamoa, Danielle Brooks, Emma Myers, Sebastian Hansen, and Jack Black, who originally wasn't going to play Steve. Black also revealed his most-played game earlier this month, and no, it's not Minecraft or a Super Mario Bros. game.
A Minecraft Movie will hit theaters on April 4.
