Is the Max, Disney+, and Hulu bundle the ultimate streaming deal?

The Disney+, Hulu, And Max Bundle Is Live, Here's How Much It Costs And How To Sign Up

Starting today, the Disney+, Hulu, and Max bundle is available with two pricing options. The cheapest one is the ad-supported tier that will run $16.99 a month, while the ad-free tier is nearly double that price at $29.99 a month. The former offers nearly $10 in savings from the combined price of all three ad-supported streamers. The ad-free tiers for each service would have run $37 a month separately, which means the bundle offers the same deal for around $7 less.

Early adopters of the Ultimate Bundle will be able to catch Max and HBO's The Penguin on September 19, and Disney+'s Agatha All Along on Disney+ on September 18. Disney+ will also have the new Star Wars series, Skeleton Crew, later this year.

Note that only Disney+ and Hulu are available through the same app or on the Disney+ site. Max will continue to be run as a separate app and streaming service. There is a rival super bundle coming from Comcast that will offer Netflix, Peacock, and Apple TV+. But that deal is only available to Comcast subscribers.

Of those three streamers, Netflix has indicated that it will not seek a similar deal directly with its rivals. Earlier this month, a company representative stated that the streamer's willingness to forgo further bundling was "because Netflix already operates as a go-to destination for entertainment thanks to the breadth and variety of our slate and superior product experience."
