This marks the first Nintendo Direct since the Switch 2 Direct in April served as a broad introduction to the new console, as it revealed new Switch 2 features, games, and accessories. Games announced during the stream included The Duskbloods from From Software, Kirby Air Riders, and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment.

Donkey Kong Bananza, meanwhile, served as the final announcement from the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct. It is the first 3D-platforming adventure game starring Donkey Kong since Donkey Kong 64, with the announcement trailer showing DK bashing through enemies, digging through the ground, and more.

Donkey Kong Bananza is set to launch July 17 exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2. Preorders are available now at multiple online retailers.
