The release date was supposed to be officially announced later today alongside other reveals in the coming weeks. During the week of August 19, developer BioWare will show high-level combat mechanics and how the game performs on PC. During the week of August 26, more information about companions will be shown. A developer Q&A session will be held in Discord on August 30, and many more details will be revealed starting in September until launch day.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard will launch for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. The game has 700 characters and 140,000 lines of dialogue, and won't require the EA App on PC, as BioWare is going all-in on Steam Deck features.
