Now Playing: Borderlands 4 | Rafa the Exo-Soldier - "Yolt" | Official Character Short

What’s interesting about Rafa’s short is its inherently darker tone. While the events are still campy/in line with past Borderlands games, there is a seriousness to the themes being introduced. It’s possible that Borderlands 4 will not only have plenty of jokes for fans come September, but an engaging character-driven story as well.

Borderlands 4 launches on September 12 for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with the Nintendo Switch 2 version dropping October 3, 2025.
