Lego's January 2025 lineup of Marvel sets includes two new mechs, the Marvel logo, and a bunch of Spider-Man playsets

Marvel Lego Sets - Check Out All 10 New Builds Lego Dropped This Month

More than 100 Lego sets released January 1, including 10 new additions to the expansive Marvel lineup. If you have a big collection of Marvel Lego sets or MCU collectibles in general, the most notable new set might be the 931-piece Marvel Logo building kit, which could be a centerpiece to your collection. Lego also added to its lineup of mech figures with larger-than-life Spider-Man and Iron Man kits, each of which is priced at only $15.

New Marvel Lego Sets

  • Lego Marvel - Marvel Logo & Minifigures (931 Pieces) -- $100
  • Lego Marvel - Captain America: Civil War Action Battle (736 pieces) -- $100
  • Lego Marvel - Spider-Verse: Miles Morales vs. The Spot (375 pieces) -- $50
  • Lego Marvel - Spider-Man Mech vs. Anti-Venom (107 pieces) -- $15

And as mentioned, Lego released a lot of sets this month, so there's plenty more to browse beyond the Marvel sets. On the DC side of superheroes, Superman has returned to the Lego universe ahead of the upcoming film. The new Superman Lego set is also a $15 mech, and since a Batman mech released last year, you could make your own Batman v Superman film with mechs. Lego also expanded the lineups of other major franchises this month, including Star Wars, Harry Potter, Animal Crossing, and Super Mario (Mario Kart Lego sets!).

Priced at $100, this cool replica of the Marvel logo and comes with minifigures of Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, Black Widow, and Captain America. What's really neat about this piece is that it features three buttons, and when they're pressed, they'll make your Avengers minifigures pop out from the Marvel logo.

Ahead of Captain America: Brave New World's theatrical release next month, Lego is revisiting one of the earlier movies in the franchise. This recreation of the epic airport fight scene from Captain America: Civil War makes for a nice--and compact--showpiece. You're getting eight minifigures in this $100 set, including Captain America, Winter Soldier, Wanda, Falcon, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Black Widow, and Black Panther, as well as a fully jointed Ant-Man standing over 9.5 inches tall and a Quinjet with folding aircraft wings.

The new Spider-Man mech is only 107 pieces, but like most of the mechs based on Marvel, DC, and Star Wars characters, it looks pretty darn cool. The mech is essentially a buildable action figure with an impressive degree of articulation. The mech has a cockpit for the included Spider-Man minifigure, and you also get an Anti-Venom minifigure. Considering minifigures typically go for $5, these mech kits offer solid value.

Of course, no armored Lego Marvel set would be complete with an Iron Man version, and this kit comes with minifigures of the armored Avenger and his mechanical foe Ultron. It's basically a Hulkbuster suit for just $15. For an actual Hulkbuster playset, there's this small-scale model for $20 (was $27) and this very large 4,049-piece model.

Based on Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, this 375-piece playset recreates the battle against The Spot. The convenience store.'s wall has a destructible mechanism that frees the ATM machine to be stolen, but thankfully Miles and Gwen minifigures are included, so The Spot won't be able to get away (unless you let him, of course). The set also comes with an Officer Jefferson minifigure and a police cruiser.

Why does Venom have a muscle car? We don't know, but we're 100% certain that it is cool. This 254-piece playset sees Venom attach his muscle car to a safe filled with gold, but naturally Spider-Man and Spider-Woman are on his tail--or should we say tentacles? Venom can't drive with all four tentacles attached, but you can remove two of them and then attach them to the muscle car as decorations. Is that weird? Probably. But a Venom owning a muscle car should be weird.

This 295-piece Lego playset features Iron Man and Black Panther in a showdown with Red Hulk. Along with the minifigures, the kit lets you build Iron Man's cool car and Black Panther's plane. Each vehicle has a cockpit for one minifigure and a pair of stud shooters. It also comes with a Dum-E Lego figure with a fire extinguisher.

The last three sets on this list are part of Lego's four-and-up lineup, otherwise known as preschooler playsets. These are small-scale sets that generally come with larger pieces and are designed for novice builders. You can view them as a segue from Duplo to more traditional Lego sets.

First up is Spidey and Gobby's Raptor Battle at Tree House HQ. Based on the Disney Jr. animated series Spidey and His Amazing Friends, this cute playset reimagines Spider-Man and the Green Goblin as velociraptors. It also comes with a Dino-Spin buildable dinosaur, and a trio of minifigures: Trapster, Trace-E, and Ghost-Spider. Trapster has an aircraft with stud shooters, and Ghost-Spider shoots webs from her perch on the Tree House Headquarters.

Team Spidey Dino Crawler Rescue is a 136-piece playset featuring a Spider-Man-themed truck, Ghost-Spider in pterodactyl form, Rhino the triceratops, and Spidey and Miles minifigures. The buildable structure includes a hidden rod that can be pushed forward to send the boulder tumbling to the ground. There could be a surprise or two inside the rock, too. Spidey's vehicle has enough room in the trunk to haul Rhino to dinosaur jail.

Dinosaurs are awesome, so it's not surprising that the third Spidey and His Amazing Friends playset sticks with the prehistoric theme. It features Miles "Spin" Morales and Electro. Miles has a stegosaurus-themed vehicle, while Electro's motorcycle is inspired by the dilophosaurus.
