Konami says it only modernized gameplay elements where it made sense to do so, and you can choose to play it with the original control scheme or a modernized version instead.
This approach extends to an over-the-shoulder third-person viewpoint in New Style and a top-down viewpoint in Legacy Style that Metal Gear Solid purists will appreciate. Another neat quality-of-life upgrade is a quick-select menu to make changing your camouflage simpler.
Metal Gear Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will also be available for Xbox Series X|S and PS5, and on the Sony platform, you can expect a smooth and enhanced performance if you own a PS5 Pro console.
