Monsterverse Declassified features stories on new Titans like a giant mammoth, lizard, sea serpent, and spider

Move Over, Godzilla: The New Monsterverse Declassified Graphic Novel Stars Lesser-Known Titans

The next Godzilla and Kong Monsterverse team-up movie won't premiere until 2027, but you can make the wait for the kaiju duo's next outing a little easier with the Monsterverse Declassified graphic novel anthology. The book launched this week on May 13 and includes comic stories on several of the lesser-known giant monsters--known as Titans--from the Monsterverse cinematic universe, and you can pick it up for just $20 through Amazon.

The 112-page graphic novel contains new stories on several Titans, including Behemoth, Tiamat, the smallest Titan with the biggest heart, Titanus Doug, and more. If you're an arachnophobe, you might want to skip the section devoted to Abaddon, the gigantic eight-legged monster said to be the oldest ancestor of all spiders. The creative team includes some great talent, as artists David Ferracci, Oliver Ono, Marco Roblin, Drew Zucker bring stories written by David M. Booher, Greg Keyes, Rosie Knight, and Daniel J. Park to life in this collection.

While this new graphic novel focuses on a few Monsterverse Titans you may not know of, there are of course plenty of Godzilla comics out there as well. Godzilla: The Monster Comic Art Collection is an upcoming oversized 280-page hardcover book that collects artwork from IDW Publishing's Godzilla series. This will be released on September 16, and you can preorder it for $50.

Have you ever wanted to see Godzilla take on the mightiest heroes of the Marvel and DC Universes? Well you can do just that, with Godzilla vs. the Marvel Universe and Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong. The seven-issue DC Universe book revolves around Lex Luthor and the Legion of Doom unleashing the Titans of Skull Island on the Justice League, while the Marvel crossover saw Godzilla battle the Fantastic Four, Hulk, Spider-Man, the X‑Men, the Avengers, and Thor across several eras.

If that doesn't appeal to you, then you can check out Godzilla taking on Sherlock Holmes and Jay Gatsby instead in an illustrated adventure that will be released on July 22. We promise we're not making this up.
