Nintendo did not reveal what the reward is for completing missions, but did tease that there are hidden collectibles, including medallions and hidden panels, for players to find. Free Roam also supports online multiplayer, so players can explore with their friends and mess around with them in photo mode. It's unclear if there are multiplayer missions, but Nintendo did confirm that it will always be possible to fast travel to your friends' location on the map. Multiplayer isn't restricted to free roam, though, as Battle Mode returns.

Mario Kart World and Nintendo Switch 2 will be released on June 5, and those interested in picking both up should read GameSpot's preorder guide for Nintendo's new system.
