Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive Drag x Drive is having a "Global Jam" online demo, letting Nintendo Switch Online subscribers try out the mouse-based sports game for themselves

Drag X Drive Limited-Time Demo Runs This Weekend: Here's How And When To Join

Drag x Drive is a Switch 2 exclusive that makes use of the Joy-Con 2's mouse functionality. Players hold a Joy-Con 2 in each hand and slide them on a surface to control the wheels of their wheelchairs; motion controls are used to shoot the ball. Tricks such as gaining air off half-pipes can be utilized, and players can actually gain extra points if they successfully land trick shots.

This isn't the only title that Nintendo has deployed an online demo for; all three Splatoon games got a "Global Testfire" demo event prior to their launches, and similarly, Arms had its own "Global Testpunch."

Any players who end up impressed by the Drag x Drive: Global Jam demo this weekend won't have to wait long for the full game to release. Drag x Drive launches for Nintendo Switch 2 on August 14 for only $20.
