Obsidian Entertainment received some valuable feedback from Halo Studios while developing the genesis of The Outer Worlds 2

The Outer Worlds 2 standard edition includes the base game on your platform of choice. If you secure your copy of the game ahead of launch, you'll also get the Commander Zane’s Anti-Monopolistic Battle Pack preorder bonus.

Physical preorders are available for $80 on PS5 at Best Buy, and we expect more retailers will have copies soon. Digital preorders are also available on console and PC.

The Outer Worlds 2 is also available in a $100 Premium Edition that includes a bunch of extra content, like a Season Pass that will let you download the two post-launch story expansion DLC packs once they're available. Preordering this version also gets you the Commander Zane’s Anti-Monopolistic Battle Pack preorder bonus, as well as early access to the full game five days early starting October 24. Physical PS5 and Xbox Series X preorders are available at Best Buy. Note that the Xbox version appears to be a code in a box, and not a disc. Nevertheless, this is the only physical Xbox version of the game currently announced.
