Optical Camo usage and effects

The Optical Camo must first be installed into an Integumentary System slot via a Ripperdoc NPC. You'll then be able to select it by going to your inventory and adding it to a Quick Access slot in the bottom-left corner. It can be activated depending on which slot it's equipped (i.e. pressing the middle mouse button or RB/R1).

By default, the tier 5 version has the following effects:

• -90% visibility to enemies for seven seconds
• Makes you very hard to detect outside of combat and harder to hit when in combat.

However, those who also own the Phantom Liberty expansion can unlock new Relic abilities, such as Emergency Cloaking. This causes enemies to lose track of you when you activate Optical Camo during combat, essentially presenting a means of escape if you're outnumbered. Certain iconic weapons like Her Majesty also make use of Optical Camo to gain additional effects.
