Lego Dune Atreides Royal Ornithopter Gets Big Discount At Amazon
Part of the Lego Icons series, this 1,369-piece building set recreates the unique aircraft used by House Atreides in the movies
Dune fans can save big on the Atreides Royal Ornithopter Lego set at Amazon. Released last year ahead of Dune: Part Two, this 1,369-piece model kit for adults is on sale for $132 (was $165). The $33 discount matches the all-time low for the franchise's only Lego set. Along with the detailed replica of aircraft used by members of House Atreides, the kit comes with six minifigures and other accessories.

The Dune Atreides Royal Ornithopter features 1,369 pieces. When snapped together, you’ll have built a faithful replica of the vehicle that measures over 9 inches tall, 22 inches long, and 31 inches wide. Its large wings are fully posable, there’s a deployable landing gear, and the rear ramp can retract for a more streamlined appearance.
Along with the large Ornithopter replica, this set includes eight minifigures:

The Dune Atreides Royal Ornithopter is designed as a display piece for adults, so consider finding a cozy corner in your game room or home theater to show it off. Of course, younger builds can always use it as a playset (thanks to its interactive features and multiple minifigures), but the gigantic vehicle is probably better off as a piece of home décor.
