PlayStation's elegant Shapes of Play Collection released last December, but the prices are significantly better during Days of Play

Save 40% On PlayStation's 30th Anniversary Board Game, Magnetic Blocks, And Stress Balls

PlayStation Days of Play 2025 is largely filled with deals on PS5 hardware, accessories, and games, but one of the more intriguing offers is the 40% discount on the Shapes of Play Collection. Released last December to commemorate PlayStation's 30th anniversary, Shapes of Play features a trio of collectible toy sets designed by the PlayStation console development team: Create, Battle, and Recharge. While they certainly look nice, the MSRP for each has likely stopped many longtime PlayStation fans from buying these fancy collectibles.

If you initially passed on Shapes of Play due to the price, the newly launched Days of Play 2025 sale includes massive discounts that make these unique PlayStation collectibles worth a second look. Shapes of Play is exclusive to PlayStation Direct, and these deals will only be available until June 11. Free shipping is available on all orders, so you don't have to worry about hitting a certain threshold to avoid a fee.

Shapes of Play: Create, which is by far the most expensive item in the collection, includes 13 magnetic wooden blocks that can be connected to create shapes and words, like "Play" and PlayStation symbols (triangle, circle, cross, square). The blocks can stand upright on their own, so you can build a little display piece.

There are six different block types and four different colors. Shapes of Play: Create is packaged in a commemorative 30th Anniversary box.

The 40% discount drops the price by $32. Yes, $48 is still expensive for a box of magnetic blocks, but it certainly sounds better than $80.

Shapes of Play: Battle is a board game resembling Tic-Tac-Toe. The twist is that this is a 4 x 4 board, and the goal is to create a full row of the four PlayStation shapes before your opponent.

The small 5 x 5-inch game board is made of beechwood, and the 16 game pieces are acrylic. Shapes of Play: Battle comes with a PlayStation 30th Anniversary-branded storage box.

Normally $45, which is pricey for elaborate Tic-Tac-Toe, Shapes of Play: Battle is discounted to $27.

Shapes of Play: Recharge is the cheapest of the three at $21--after the 40% discount. PlayStation turned all four symbols into 3D shapes made of silicone.

Though PlayStation doesn't use the name "stress ball" on the listing, these are PlayStation-branded stress balls made of "soft touch" silicone. Just make sure you put each shape back inside the 30th Anniversary box, as you don't want to lose stress balls that you spent $21 on.
