Preorder information will be available later this week. The game will be available across Steam, the Epic Games Store, and Rockstar's own PC store.
While 2018's Red Dead Redemption II came to PC a year after the game debuted on consoles, the original Red Dead launched for Xbox 360 and PS3 and never expanded to PC until now. The game came to Nintendo Switch in August 2023.
Double Eleven, an independent game developer, was also the developer of Red Dead Redemption's Switch and PS4 port. It has worked on ports of Grounded, Fallout 76, Rust, Minecraft Dungeons, and Limbo, among others.
As for Rockstar Games, the studio is now developing Grand Theft Auto VI, which is set for release in Fall 2025.
