Players will also encounter strangers in the game world who will ask you to bring them a specific plush. Completing these quests unlocks those plushes and increases your friendship level with townsfolk. "Grateful townspeople will give rewards, including furniture, which you can use to decorate your in-game plush rooms," the game's description says.

Pokemon Friends is also available on mobile devices as a free download, but on Switch and Switch 2, it's available for $10 from the eShop. This includes the Basic Pack, which comes with 30 puzzles, 70 craftable plushies, and 11 yarn types. There are more microtransactions, too, including Puzzle Packs 1 and 2, which add more puzzles to the game. They cost $15 on their own or $26 in a bundle with both.
