Rematch Players Discover Jumping Is Faster Than Running, But Dev Is Fixing That Soon

As you can see in the video above, jumping appears to give players an edge over those who run. In a competitive-type game like Rematch, players are looking for any edge they can get, and anyone taking advantage of this will only be able to do so for a short while longer.
Rematch launched on June 19 and quickly amassed more than 3 million players. It hasn't necessarily sold that many copies, however, as Rematch is also available on Xbox Game Pass.
The stylized third-person game is also available to buy outright for $30 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The game launched without crossplay support but that's coming later. The game takes place decades in the future and there are no fouls, offsides, penalty kicks, ties, or shootouts.
