Spirited Away's 856-Page Comic Book Omnibus Is Available Now For Only $30
Spirited Away Film Comic: All-in-One Edition is the third Studio Ghibli comic omnibus, and fans can also preorder the upcoming Ponyo omnibus
Spirited Away is the third Studio Ghibli Film Comic to receive an All-in-One Edition in recent months. My Neighbor Totoro and Kiki's Delivery Service Film Comic omnibuses retail for $30 each but are available for $28.59 and $24.84, respectively. Ghibli fans can preorder the Ponyo Film Comic: All-in-One Edition for $30 ahead of its June 24 release.

These graphic novels are notable because they use the original film animation cells for illustrations. They've all been rearranged and reformatted to look like comic book and manga panels with full-color illustrations. Spirited Away clocks in at a total of 856 pages, while My Neighbor Totoro and Kiki's Delivery Service are 584 pages each. Ponyo's All-in-One Edition is 592 pages.
For anyone who adores the art direction of Studio Ghibli movies, this is a pretty great way to "pause" a film so that you can focus on the smaller details of these beautifully animated stories. Because these comics use original cells and illustrations from the movies, they really can be viewed as reasonably priced art books, too.
Hopefully Howl's Moving Castle, which also has a Film Comics series, will receive the All-In-One treatment next.
If you want to rewatch the films before reading the Film Comics, the Limited Edition Steelbook series of Ghibli movies is definitely worth checking out. The 30th Anniversary Edition of My Neighbor Totoro, which comes with the soundtrack on CD and a 40-page book, is available for $37.
Last summer, The Boy and the Heron became the first Studio Ghibli film to release on 4K Blu-ray. The steelbook version is discounted to $30 and comes with 4K and standard Blu-ray discs.
