The 4K and standard Blu-ray versions both launch on April 15

Dune Prophecy Season One Blu-Ray Preorders Are Now Available

Set 10,000 years before the events of Dune, Dune Prophecy explores the conflict between two Harkonnen sisters. Along with setting the story for the hit movies, it also covers the founding of the Bene Gesserit. Inspired by the novel Sisterhood of Dune (written by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson), it’s an easy recommendation for fans of the original novels or two impressive movie adaptations. Bonus features are yet to be announced, but expect to see various behind-the-scenes clips and interviews with the crew.

Want to save a few bucks? Pick up the standard Blu-ray version of Dune Prophecy. It should offer all the same bonus features, but the show’s six episodes are offered on Blu-ray instead of 4K UHD.

Want to add even more Dune to your 4K Blu-ray collection? Check out the impressive Dune 2-Film Collection, as it gets you both Dune and Dune: Part Two for just $60. It features 4K and digital versions of both films, plus over an hour of bonus features that explore the creation of the Fremen world, worm-riding, and the sounds of the film. You can also grab 4K standalone versions of Dune: Part 1 and Part 2 if you only need to add one film to your collection.

For something different, you can pick up the Dune adaptation by David Lynch on 4K Blu-ray. Released in 1984, it wasn't reviewed as well as the newer adaptations by Denis Villeneuve, but at $23 it’s a great choice for anyone interested in seeing the story from a different perspective.
