New Art Book Goes Behinds The Scenes On Death Stranding 2: On the Beach's Development

The Art of Death Stranding 2: On The Beach launches November 11
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is officially out this week, giving players a chance to return to the series' strange, post-apocalyptic vision of the near-future. Death Stranding 2 appears to build upon the striking visual design of the first game with new locations, technology, and characters, and soon you'll be able to learn how the Kojima Productions team achieved the look of the game with the upcoming The Art of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. The artbook launches on November 11, and preorders are discounted to $40 (was $50) at Amazon
Published by Titan Books, the 256-page Death Stranding 2 art book features hundreds of pieces of concept art and illustrations for many of the game's characters, equipment, locations, and creatures, many of which were drawn by acclaimed artist Yoji Shinkawa. You'll even get a look at some unused designs that didn't make it into the game. The book also includes commentary from Hideo Kojima.
Preorder at AmazonIf you haven't picked it up yet, you can also get The Art of Death Stranding at a pretty good price right now. The coffee table-sized book features highly detailed illustrations and concept art, and even features gold page edges.
See at AmazonIf art isn't your thing, you can grab the official Death Stranding novelization. These two books retell the story of the video game and its protagonist, Sam Porter Bridges, as he travels across a post-apocalyptic USA in a quest to reunite the scattered cities following the near-extinction of humanity.
