Now Playing: Battlefield 6 - Official Multiplayer Gameplay Reveal Trailer
EA has not confirmed a player figure for the Battlefield 6 beta thus far, but the company did say in a social media post that this was the "biggest open beta" in Battlefield's history. GameSpot has contacted EA in an attempt to get more details.
The Battlefield 6 open beta eclipsed 500,000 peak concurrent users on Steam, surging past Call of Duty's own record. Despite the beta being offline, more than 3,000 people are currently in the game on Steam.
The Battlefield 6 open beta enters its second weekend beginning August 14 and running through August 17. It's free and open to everyone on all platforms. Weekend 2 has more maps and modes, and you can learn more in GameSpot's Battlefield 6 open beta breakdown.
Battlefield 6 launches on October 10 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. That's about a month before Activision's Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is reportedly set to release on November 14.
