Stranger Things Season 5 Teaser Reveals New Cast Members
The cast of Stranger Things gets ready to say goodbye after Season 5, while new performers join the show
Terminator star Linda Hamilton is the most prominent new cast member glimpsed in the video above, but she isn't the only one. The video also briefly shows three new additions to the cast: Nell Fisher, Jake Connelly, and Alex Breaux. Connelly is a newcomer, and he is shown next to Priah Ferguson's Erica Sinclair. Presumably his character and Fisher's will be connected with Erica because the performers are roughly the same age. Beyond that, we don't have any details about the new characters who have been added to the mix.
What we can infer from the video is that the core group of kids will be in high school during the final season, which makes their characters only a few years younger than the actors who are portraying them. It also appears that life in Hawkins is relatively normal despite the Upside Down bleeding into our world at the end of Stranger Things Season 4.
Netflix hasn't set a date for Stranger Things Season 5 yet, but given the way that the previous season was split in two, we wouldn't be shocked to see the final season split into as many as three sections like the upcoming season of Cobra Kai.
