High On Life Coming To Switch Very Soon, Physical Edition Also Coming

The comedic FPS from Ricky and Morty creator Justin Roiland is heading to Switch in May
It's not immediately clear what studio is handling the Switch port of High on Life, or if there are any Switch-specific features or content. The Switch 2 will play some Switch 1 games through backward compatibility, but it's not clear if High on Life is a supported title.
A physical edition of High on Life for Switch is coming from Limited Run Games, with wishlisting available now and preorders opening on April 22--this version includes the High on Knife DLC.
High on Life features voices by Rick and Morty's Justin Roiland, who founded Squanch Games. Roiland faced accusations of domestic violence; the charges were later dismissed--and Roiland left Squanch. More allegations arose in fall 2023 over Roiland reportedly engaging in sexually inappropriate contact with underage fans.
High on Life broke Xbox records when it launched in 2022, and now a TV adaptation is in the works with one of the game's most hilarious voice actors, JB Smoove.
GameSpot's High on Life review scored the game a 7/10. "The story, off-beat as it may be, is told incredibly well, with characters and moments I'll be referencing for a while. Even if you're not a fan of the kind of humor High On Life presents, the game that's here is worth the trip," we said.
