Now Playing: You Win Some, Lose Some - Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 GameSpot Review

Activision also touted that Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 has over 10 million hours played (as of August 13) in a press release. That doesn't really give insight into sales data for the title, though the company was happy to say that amount of time would allow for someone to skate the planet 3,500 times. How you cross oceans on a skateboard is left unexplained, however.

Tony Hawks' Pro Skater 3 + 4 came out last month and just got its first major discount earlier this week. Fascinatingly enough, Hawk almost gave up on even making a skateboarding game in the 1990s, right before Activision entered the picture.
