Meanwhile, the explosion in player counts for Helldivers 2 is tied to the game finally coming to Xbox Series X|S this week. In fact, Helldivers 2 even has a Halo: ODST crossover, though Halo's assault rifle can lead to some crashing issues. Arrowhead is looking into a fix.

Coincidentally, PlayStation and Xbox ended up trading exclusives on the same day, August 26. As Helldivers 2 finally landed on Xbox, Gears of War: Reloaded launched on PS5--bringing chainsaw guns and the Locust to PlayStation for the first time in nearly 20 years of the franchise.
