Hello Kitty's friends, including Cinnamoroll, Pochacco, and My Melody, can make appearances on your farm.The DLC also adds in a Hello Kitty costume for your character, complete with the iconic red bow and blue overalls.
The Hello Kitty and Friends DLC costs 1510 Minecoins, which is roughly $10-$12. Hello Kitty is one of the most popular icons in the world. The series even has its own game, Hello Kitty: Island Adventure, currently on Apple Arcade. The game is also coming to PC and Switch digitally on January 30, with a physical release on March 25. A PlayStation release is planned later down the line.
In other Minecraft news, its former creator Notch was thinking about creating a spiritual successor, but said that it probably wouldn't be nearly as fun. Notch sold Minecraft and its developer, Mojang, to Microsoft in 2014 for 2.5 billion.
