Krypto The Superdog To Appear In James Gunn's Superman Film - Report
The iconic canine sidekick will be featured in the 2025 DCU movie, according to comic writer Mark Waid
The upcoming film will feature David Corenswet as Superman and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane. The film is also set to include Nicholas Hoult's Lex Luthor, Nathan Fillion's Green Lantern, and Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl. In June, set photos surfaced, revealing Corenswet as Superman (in a brighter costume reminiscent of Christopher Reeve's iconic look) and Edi Gathegi as Mr. Terrific (sporting a comic-accurate T-mask) in full costume while filming in Cleveland, Ohio.
Superman, scheduled for a July 11, 2025 release, will serve as the first entry in the newly rebooted DC Universe, known as Chapter 1: Gods and Monsters. This film will not be an origin story but will showcase a variety of DC heroes and villains as part of Gunn's new direction for the franchise.
