Inez comes from Auntie's Choice and serves as your field medic, in addition to using her biomedical enhancements to take out enemies. Marisol is part of the Order of the Ascendent faction, and she appears to absorb an enemy's essence in the trailer. Last is Tristan from the Protectorate, who wields a giant hammer and looks like he loves to punish rule-breakers.
In the first The Outer Worlds, you could take two companions with you on missions, and each companion had their own quests lines you could complete, along with some strong opinions on how you should be handling yourself.
Microsoft recently announced that The Outer Worlds 2 will only cost $70, instead of $80, as it had previously said. The Outer Worlds 2 releases on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC on October 29.
