The PlayStation 5 and Xbox versions of Razer's BlackShark headset are on sale thanks to Best Buy's Black Friday in July sale, the retailer's answer to Prime Day

The BlackShark V2 Pro headset has been around for a bit, but the console variants are fairly new and include a few additional features. Both support 2.4GHz wireless connections using a USB-C dongle that's included with the headsets, or with Bluetooth 5.2, and Razer says both can provide up to 70 hours of battery life. They also offer a detachable unidirectional microphone and use 50mm audio drivers. You can get them in either white or black.

There are some key differences between the headsets, though. The Xbox version works with Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, PC, Mac, and mobile--but only supports Windows spatial audio on the Xbox systems, PC, Mac, and mobile, not the PlayStation consoles. Meanwhile, the PlayStation version works with PS5, PS4, PC, Mac, and mobile, but not the Xbox consoles. That headset also is compatible with the Sony's 3D spatial audio.

Whichever headset you're going for, though, the discount here is pretty significant. Best Buy is knocking $50 off the usual $200 price tag, bringing the cost of each headset down to $150. It's part of Best Buy's Black Friday in July sale, its answer to the huge number of Amazon Prime Day deals available this week. Like Prime Day, Best Buy's sale ends on July 17, so make sure you take advantage of the deals before then.
