The original Metal Gear Online was a multiplayer spin-off released on PlayStation 3. As such, this game would likely be called something else, or it could be a game mode attached to Metal Gear Solid Delta. We'd have to wait for more details from Konami.

The Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater remake follows the same story as the original, just with enhanced graphics and gameplay. It also includes mini-games like Snake vs. Monkey, which was also present in the original.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on August 28, 2025. Pre-orders are live now.
