The studio clarified that the VR game and currently released DLC are still purchasable and playable, but it will not receive any future updates.
The VR space has seen some challenges over the past few years. Back in 2023, Sony's PlayStation VR 2 reportedly sold poorly and in 2024, Sony reportedly decided to pause production of new headset units. Last year, Firewall Ultra developer First Contact Entertainment shut down due to the general lack of VR support within the industry.
