New Nosferatu Trailer Casts Shadow Of Death Over The Holiday Season
The unofficial Dracula adaptation gets another remake, aimed to go darker and bloodier than ever before
While we don't see Orlock, we see his trademark silhouette with his pointed features and stretched talons. The trailer is very similar to Eggers now-classic The Witch from 2015, which is also around the time his journey to bring Orlock to the screen again started. It might also be no surprise that both The Witch and Nosferatu are edited by Louise Ford, given the similar style.
Joining Skarsgard will be Nicholas Hoult, Lily-Rose Depp, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Emma Corrin, Willem Dafoe, Eggers' steady collaborator Ralph Ineson, and Simon McBurney.
Nosferatu sinks into theaters on Christmas Day.
