The Walmart-exclusive Timmy & Tommy Aloha Edition Switch Lite is still available for its discounted price weeks after Walmart's big sale ended

Nintendo Switch Lite Bundle With Animal Crossing: New Horizons Is Only $159 At Walmart

Surprisingly, one of Walmart's best deals from its big sale earlier this month is still available. The Walmart-exclusive Animal Crossing-themed Nintendo Switch Lite is up for grabs for only $159 (was $200). This special-edition package comes with a turquoise Switch Lite with an Animal Crossing-inspired twist.

Since the design is fairly understated and largely confined to the back of the console, those who aren't interested in Animal Crossing likely wouldn't mind getting this console as a gift. That said, an interest in Animal Crossing is a plus, as the console also comes with a digital copy of New Horizons, a game that still sells for $60 years after its release.

The Timmy & Tommy Aloha Edition of the Switch Lite features a leaf print design on the back of the console as well as an Animal Crossing logo as the home button.

At this point, it seems likely that Walmart is attempting to clear its inventory of this special-edition console. The bundle originally launched last holiday as part of Nintendo's official Black Friday sale. Though the turquoise version is exclusive to Walmart, there's a pink edition at Target (but it's full price). Both versions sold out during the holidays, and stock was replenished earlier this year.

If you're interested in the Animal Crossing Switch Lite, especially the Walmart-exclusive version, we'd recommend buying it soon. Walmart's deal could disappear at any moment.

Heads up: The Hyrule Edition Nintendo Switch Lite, which releases alongside The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, went up for preorder earlier this month--in case you'd prefer a Zelda-themed console over Animal Crossing.
