This New Official Fortnite Controller Glows In The Dark

Preorder at AmazonAside from its quirky glow-in-the-dark feature, the PowerA Fortnite Glow is a well-equipped $40 controller for Xbox and PC. It includes two mappable back buttons, 3-way trigger locks to adjust the actuation depth of its triggers, dual rumble motors, and an included 10-foot USB-C cable. You can also sync it with the PowerA Gamer HQ app on PC to test and customize your settings.
Multiple other official Fortnite controllers are also available online, so if you’d rather not wait until the end of the month for a new controller--or you're looking for something to use with other platforms like the Nintendo Switch--there are a few alternatives to pick from.
The quirkiest of the bunch is arguably the CRKD NEO S Purple Wave, which was designed to enhance the Fortnite Festival experience. The rectangular gamepad features all the usual face buttons, shoulder triggers, and D-pad you'd expect, plus Hall Effect thumbsticks. It also includes a detachable five-button fret accessory for playing along to Fortnite Festival tracks. It's on sale for $50 (was $60).
For something more conventional, the PowerA Enhanced Wireless Switch Controller (Fortnite Sticker Mania) is discounted to $43 (was $65). Along with a unique sticker-inspired design, it supports wireless connectivity, features two remappable back buttons and up to 30 hours of battery life. It also comes with a code for the Googly Glider in-game item. The PowerA OPS v1 Fortnite Wireless Controller is also seeing a nice discount to $45 (was $55), and since the PC controller is built with Hall Effect sticks to prevent drift, it’s a great choice if you’re worried about the longevity of your gamepads.
PS5 players can pick up the Fortnite Limited Edition DualSense controller at PlayStation Direct. The controller normally costs $85, but it's eligible for a limited-time promotion that saves you 20% when you spend at least $100 on two qualifying PS5 accessories.
