AEW Fight Forever Confirmed For June Release
The wrestling promotion's first-ever video game is only a month away
The game will let players wrestle in nine different match types that have featured throughout AEW history. The full list of those match types is below:
- Single Matches
- Tag-Team
- 3-Way
- 4-Way
- Ladder Matches
- Casino Battle Royale
- Falls Count Anywhere
- Unsanctioned Lights-Out (allows use of weapons)
- Exploding Barbed Wire Death Matches
The game will launch four days after Forbidden Door 2, the second crossover event between All Elite Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling and one of the largest events on AEW's 2023 calendar. The announcement comes after rumors surrounding the game's rating, in which the ESRB allegedly planned to give the game a Mature rating due to violence, which forced the developers to make adjustments in order to receive a Teen rating.
AEW: Fight Forever launches June 29 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
