How To Get In On Fortnite's Superman Season Finale Event

When will Fortnite's Super Showdown live event take place?
The "doors open" time for the Super Showdown is on Saturday, August 2 at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET, and the event itself will start 30 minutes later at 11:30 AM PT / 2:30 PM ET.
Will this event take place during Battle Royale Matches?
No. To participate in the Super Showdown event, you'll need to join a separate mode that will be available and extremely clearly advertised in the Fortnite lobby. This mode isn't available to save as a favorite yet, but don't worry--it will be very easy to find on Saturday.
Will there be any rewards for taking part in Fortnite's Super Showdown event?
No rewards have been announced yet, but Epic typically does grant something for these events. For the Death Star event in early June, for example, Epic gave all players who logged into Fortnite in the days leading up to the event a loading screen and a pickaxe.
