Explore The Cosmos With Lego's New Guardians of the Galaxy Starship Set
This new--and much bigger--version of the Guardians of the Galaxy's Milano starship looks stunning and includes minifigs for the full Guardians team
This is a pretty big spaceship once fully constructed, measuring 24 cm high, 32 cm long and 64 cm wide. Like the version seen on the big screen in several Guardians and Avengers movies, it has a ton of cool details like adjustable wings on each side, four movable rear boosters, weapons for battle action, and even its own (sadly non-functioning) tape deck for when the Guardians need to load up an awesome mix or two.
There are almost 2,100 pieces in this set and you'll get minifigures of Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, and Baby Groot. It also comes with a display stand that you can build and the top can be lifted up to reveal internal areas like a flight deck with room for three minifigures, a communal area, and a rest area with a bed. This isn't the first time Lego has made a Milano spaceship set, but that original replica of the iconic vehicle is no longer in production. Plus, this one is bigger and much more detailed.
This isn't the only new Guardians of the Galaxy set available, as fans can also get a 456-piece Dancing Groot figure for $45. This one has mechanical features, as when you turn the handle at the rear, Groot's branches bend and dance around. You can also customize Groot with more leaves, headphones, and sunglasses, and any spare accessories can be kept in the pot's storage compartment.
