This Target-exclusive Lego set is on sale for its lowest price ever today only

Target has had some fantastic Lego deals over the past few weeks during its Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales, but if you're a Disney fan, the promotion Target has today (December 12) might just be the best holiday Lego deal yet. The 1,540-piece Disney Villain Icons Lego Set is on sale for only $62.39. Normally $130, this set is exclusive to Target and the Lego Store, and it sold out at full price there.

Disney Villain Icons is one of the only remaining in-stock building sets featured in Target's Deal of the Day on Lego sets. The retailer is discounting select Lego sets by 40%. But the discounts exceed 40% in some cases, including the Disney Villain Icons Set, which is over 50% off. This is because Target took an additional 40% off the current price, and it was already on sale for $104. A few other Lego sets are available for incredible prices still, including a pair of Avatar: The Way of Water sets and an Animal Crossing set.

Disney Villain Icons is a very cool Lego set for adults who grew up watching Disney movies on VHS. You assemble VHS boxes for Aladdin and Sleeping Beauty as well as a replica VHS tape of The Little Mermaid. Fittingly, Beauty and the Beast is represented by a replica book that's easy to image Belle removing from the shelf of the bookstore seen in the film.

The smaller builds in the set include a Queen of Hearts playing card from Alice in Wonderland, an apple for Snow White, and Captain Hook's pocket watch from Peter Pan.

Since this set focuses on villainy, the four minifigures are the main antagonists from a few of the movies: Gaston from Beauty and the Beast, Jafar from Aladdin, and real and disguise versions of Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty. You can display the minifigures as shown above, but there are secret compartments to store them in, too.

This is a cool Lego set for nostalgic Disney fans, and it doubles as a bookend, which makes it even cooler.
