Jason Momoa Accused Of Mistreating Crew On A Minecraft Movie
Valkyrae shares her account of witnessing Jason Momoa yelling at the crew while filming her cameo in A Minecraft Movie
"I just saw [Momoa] mistreat some of the crew, and it was pretty disappointing," recalled Valkyrae. "It was after a very intense scene, and it was a very emotional scene, so maybe he was still in character. I don't know. But, I just was kind of surprised by how he treated some of the crew. He was just really mad at them, that they weren't doing something right... He was just angry... and yelling. So, I was like, 'Man, this is not a good work environment. I would not be happy working under these conditions.'"
This isn't the first time that Momoa has been accused of misbehaving on a film set. Aquaman and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom co-star Amber Heard related that Momoa came to the set dressed as her ex-husband, Johnny Depp, and tried to get her fired from the DC franchise. Heard had a noticeably smaller role in the sequel, although neither performer is likely to return now that DC Studios is rebooting the entire cinematic universe in the near future.
A Minecraft Movie will be released on April 4, 2025.
