PS5 Slim Consoles And Exclusive Games On Sale At Amazon For Big Deal Days
You can save on both PS5 Slim models and a bundle deal with NBA 2K25
PlayStation is running a promotion on PS5 consoles and select first-party games until October 12. Multiple major retailers are offering the console deal, including Amazon as part of its early Prime Big Deal Days event. Amazon has locked the PS5 hardware and game deals behind Prime--you'll need a membership to shop most of the best Prime Big Deal Days offers. If you don't have Prime, you can get the console deals at other retailers, including Walmart and Target. At Target, you need to sign up for the retailer's Circle rewards program, but it's free and Target's massive Circle Week sale has begun.
Some of the PS5 game deals are only available at Amazon at this time, and we're already starting to see some games sell out. To make it easy to browse the offers, we created a custom PS5 deals hub on Amazon where you can browse all of the notable discounts.
You can save $50 on the PS5 Slim with a disc drive. Since this week's PlayStation deals include physical editions of some of the best PS5 exclusives, it's worth keeping that in mind when deciding between the two models. The console has 1TB of storage space and comes with one DualSense controller. If you want to position your console upright instead of on its side, PlayStation's Vertical Stand is $30.
If you want a second controller for multiplayer, you have plenty of colorful options to choose from, including the new Chroma Collection that's up for preorder at Amazon.

The Digital version of the PS5 Slim is a bit slimmer due to the absence of the disc drive. To position the console upright, you'll want to add the $30 Vertical Stand to your cart, too.
If you decide you want to play physical games down the line, there's an official Disc Drive attachment for $80. The Disc Drive is also compatible with the upcoming PS5 Pro, the more powerful 2TB PS5 console that releases November 7. The PS5 Pro only comes in an all-digital configuration.

NBA 2K25 just released in September, so it'd cost you $70 to buy the game separately on the PlayStation Store. This bundle essentially saves you $20, dropping the price of NBA 2K25 to $50.

A bunch of the best PlayStation exclusives are featured in the sale, including Marvel's Spider-Man 2 for a new all-time low price, God of War Ragnarok for $30 off, and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart for over 50% off.
Multiple 2024 PS5 exclusives have received rare discounts, too: Rise of the Ronin and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. The latter is technically part of Square Enix's promotion, not PlayStation's, so it could disappear before the other games on this list.
We also included several notable third-party game deals up for grabs, including the first-ever major discounts for EA Sports College Football 25 and Madden NFL 25.
