Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Suit Is Swinging Into Marvel Rivals Soon

Marvel Rivals developer NetEase has not disclosed how much the skin will cost. Most costume bundles in the Marvel Rivals cosmetic shop cost around $16 in in-game currency, so the Spider-Man 2 suit could be similarly priced and will likely include a unique nameplate, MVP screen, and other cosmetics.

Spider-Man mains currently have a few different costumes to choose from. PlayStation 5 players can snag the Scarlet Spider skin for free. Paid cosmetics include a Prowler variation of the costume, the Iron Spider costume that more closely matches the character's appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the Bombastic Bag Man, where Peter Parker wears normal street clothes with a paper bag over his head.

The new costume arrives the same day as Marvel's Spider-Man 2 debuts on PC, the game having originally been released as a PS5 exclusive in October 2023.

Marvel Rivals recently began its first season by introducing two new heroes, Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible Woman, alongside some significant balance changes to buff its most underwhelming characters. NetEase recently revealed the pick and win rates for each of the game's playable heroes, and in an interview stated it is planning on releasing two new playable characters every season.

In GameSpot's Marvel Rivals review, we called the hero shooter "a refined take on the genre that offers more than just being a comic-themed clone" of Overwatch.
