Check your medicine cabinets: certain gummy vitamins sold at Aldi and BJ's have been recalled over an undeclared allergen.
One lot of B12 gummy vitamins—sold under brand names Aldi Welby, Berkley Jensen, and VitaGlobe—were recalled by Vita Warehouse Corp. on June 12 due to the potential presence of undeclared peanuts.
Which Gummy Vitamins Were Recalled?
The vitamin B12 gummies can be identified by the following product descriptions, including packaging details, UPC and lot codes, and expiration dates:

Where Were the B12 Gummies Sold?
Gummy vitamins were distributed to Aldi and BJ's retail stores nationwide.
They were also sold online at:

- VitaGlobe.com
- Amazon
Why Were They Recalled?
Routine testing conducted by Aldi indicated the potential presence of a peanut allergen.
Although the testing done by Vita Warehouse Corp. confirmed peanuts were not in the product, the company still initiated the recall out of an abundance of caution.
No other Aldi Welby, Berkley Jensen, or VitaGlobe products have been affected by the recall.
What You Should Do Now
People with peanut allergies are at risk of serious or life-threatening reactions if they consume these products.
If you are allergic to peanuts and have purchased any of the recalled B12 vitamins, return them to where you bought them or throw them out immediately.
Seek medical attention immediately if you have a reaction after consuming the gummies.
