Why Was The Deodorant Recalled?
The deodorant was recalled due to deviations from the Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP) regulations.
The Food and Drug Administration uses these regulations to "make sure that a product is safe for use, and that it has the ingredients and strength it claims to have."
The recalled deodorant does not fully comply with CGMP regulations, although the FDA did not specify how. The recall has yet to receive a risk level.
What Should You Do
If you use Power Stick deodorant, check if your bottle is under recall.
If you do have the recalled deodorant, stop using it. Throw it away or return it to the store.
