The week of May 5, 2025, saw major recalls of two kitchen staples.
Yellowstone Brown Sugar Molasses Baked Beans, inspired by the hit TV series, have been recalled in 23 states due to an undeclared allergen. The canned beans contain soy.
Tomatoes produced by H&C Farms have also been recalled across 14 states due to potential contamination of Salmonella bacteria, which can cause foodborne illness.
Check your kitchen for these two products, and toss or return them.
Canned Beans
Vietti Food Group is recalling 4,515 cases of its canned beans, sold in 23 states, due to an undeclared allergen, the Food and Drug Administration announced Monday.
Some of the brand's Yellowstone Brown Sugar Molasses Baked Beans—inspired by the popular TV series "Yellowstone"—contain undeclared soy.
If consumed, the recalled beans may cause serious or life-threatening allergic reactions for people with an allergy or sensitivity to soy. No illnesses or adverse reactions have been reported in connection to the recalled beans to date.
The FDA is urging consumers who have the recalled beans not to eat them and to toss or return them instead.
