No, literally.
Ashley Tisdale Just Gave Birth, and the Baby’s Name Is Out of This World
Ashley Tisdale and her husband, Christopher French, have welcomed their first child together: a daughter with a very out-of-this-world name.
“Jupiter Iris French arrived earth side 3.23.21,” Tisdale wrote on Instagram, alongside a photo of the baby's hand.
Tisdale opened up about her pregnancy to People in December 2020. “I was obviously excited because I definitely wanted a girl, for sure,” she said. “But I am also someone who goes with the flow on a lot of stuff. I try to not have expectations in moments like that and just allow what is meant to be. I was very excited.”
On how she altered her diet and exercise while pregnant, Tisdale told the outlet, “I haven't changed anything crazy. I would say that I try to be eating the healthiest when I can, but there's gonna be moments where I obviously crave stuff that's not always the healthiest meal, but I'm allowing myself to be okay.”
She continued, “When I say that, it's because I usually am on a strict diet of no carbs and all these veggies and grains,” she adds. “So yeah, if I want a gluten-free bagel, I allow myself to have a gluten-free bagel! I let my body speak to what I need. I feel like if I'm craving something, there's a reason I'm craving steak that night. I am in tune with my body. I try to keep up with my workouts because that's so helpful, and just try to be well-rounded.”
Ashley Tisdale first announced her pregnancy back in September 2020 with several photos that showed off her baby bump. She and French tied the knot back in 2014. “He's a really great guy,” Tisdale told People. “We're lucky because we're very independent people, but we love spending time and hanging out together.”
Congrats to the couple, and welcome baby Jupiter!
